Program overview
Basic Obedience builds reliable communication so your dog understands what you expect the first time. We combine clear marker systems, fair accountability, and real-world practice to make sit, down, stay, come, and heel second nature.
Each plan begins with a lifestyle assessment to determine the best training mix of private lessons, day school, or short immersive stays. Expect steady homework, field trips, and detailed feedback so your entire family stays consistent.
Core skills we install
- Sit, down, place, and stay with duration and distractions
- Come when called and emergency stop cues for added safety
- Loose-leash walking, heel position, and calm greeting routines
- Impulse control for mealtime, doorways, and high-excitement moments
Program formats
- Private lessons: Weekly 60–90 minute sessions with custom homework checklists.
- Day school: Drop-off training that blends structured play with controlled proofing.
- Mini board & train: 10–14 day immersions that jump-start manners before transfer lessons at home.
Handler coaching
We provide written lesson summaries, video demonstrations, and progress dashboards. Your trainer remains available between visits for quick adjustments so momentum never stalls.
