Program overview
Serious behavior issues demand structured coaching, not cookie-cutter obedience drills. Our behavior team begins with a detailed assessment, trigger mapping, and safety planning. Then we design phased training that rebuilds coping skills, trust, and communication for both dog and handler.
We combine desensitization, counter-conditioning, engagement games, and lifestyle adjustments to change the dog’s emotional response, not just suppress symptoms.
Behaviors we address
- Human or dog-directed aggression, guarding, and reactivity
- Separation anxiety, fear-based shutdowns, and compulsive behaviors
- Environmental sensitivities to noises, surfaces, vehicles, or handling
- Multi-dog household conflicts and integration struggles
Program structure
- Stabilize: Immediate management protocols and enrichment to lower stress.
- Retrain: Threshold work, obedience overlays, and confidence drills that create new defaults.
- Transfer: Weekly handler labs with video feedback so you can replicate progress at home.
Collaborative care
We coordinate with veterinarians, behaviorists, and therapists when needed. Expect written safety plans, progress metrics, and lifetime alumni access for ongoing support.
